Anderson Point Expansion

Anderson Point Expansion

Fortescue Metals Group are expanding their iron ore capabilities to 155 Million Tonnes per year at Anderson Point in Port Hedland WA.

The marshalling and field communications panels required the involvement of multiple vendors resulting in high costs and long lead times.

B&R Enclosures supplied customised 316 stainless steel sloping roof enclosures, complete with sunshades. The enclosure was supplied fully wired, assembled, tested and delivered directly to site ready for installation.

The complete solution, including the management of the product, provided constant updates on milestones and the production process. Time critical deliveries were achieved and costs were reduced significantly by utilising B&R Enclosures’ total system offer.
