IP Ratings for
Electrical Enclosures
IP (Ingress Protection) ratings, defined by IEC 60529, indicate how well an enclosure resists intrusion from solids (like dust or tools) and moisture.
Each rating uses two digits, the first for solids, the second for water protection.
