B&R's Polynova range of plastic and adaptable boxes consists of 5 different enclosure groups, the PJ, PS, PM, PC, and PN enclosures. They have protection ratings of IP55, IP65 and IP66, making them ideal for any application requiring protection from the elements.
PJ & PS Range
The PJ & PS range of plastic boxes are suitable for many applications requiring a smaller, screwed lid type of box.
The PJ is made from a noryl thermoplastic material, with a screw lid and is rated to IP55 (protected from weather and up to a low pressure hosing). It is available in 16 different sizes ranging from 110 x 75 x 65mm to 300 x 220 x 150mm (HxWxD).
The PS is a polyester enclosure, with a screw fit lid, rated to IP66 (protected from weather and up to a high pressure hosing). It comes in 24 different sizes ranging from 65 x 50 x 55mm to 250 x 150 x 130mm (HxWxD) and is suitable for installation in direct sunlight.
Both the PJ & PS range are available with an opaque or polycarbonate clear lid.
PM & PC Range
The PM & PC range of plastic boxes are both available with a screwed lid and modular construction to allow expansion.
The PM is a noryl thermoplastic box with a plastic screw on lid, rated to IP65 (protected from weather and up to a high pressure hosing). It is available in 5 different sizes, ranging from 270 x 180 x 165mm to 540 x 360 x 165mm (HxWxD) and has locations for cutouts and gaskets on all sides (not front or back).
The PC is a polyamide GRPthermoplastic enclosure with a plastic screw fit lid, rated to IP66 (protected from weather and up to a high pressure hosing). It is available in 19 different sizes, ranging from 135 x 135 x 130mm to 720 x 540 x 205mm (HxWxD).
Both the PM & PC range is available with an opaque or polycarbonate clear lid.
PN Range
The PN range is a general purpose plastic, hinged lid box, suited to applications that require regular maintenance or access.
The PN is a polyester enclosure, with a hinged, opaque or clear lid, rated to IP66. It is available in 12 different sizes ranging from the smallest 130 x 100 x 70mm to the largest 735 x 535 x 250mm (HxWxD).
