iLINQ swing frames are used to mount 19” equipment and allow full access to both the front and rear without having to remove, or open, cladding on the side or back of the enclosure.
The rails are EIA-310-D complaint with square holes suitable for cage nuts, this ensures that installation of equipment is hassle free. The rails are manufactured from 2mm galvanised steel and are supplied as a set of two.
The swing frames are very robust, constructed from 76 x 38 x 2.5mm RHS and are suitable for loads of up to 100kg when installed internally or 80kg when installed externally.
A horizontal swing frame rail is required to mount the swing frame, with rails available in widths to suit your enclosure. There are two mounting positions, internal (135 degree opening) and external (180 degree opening). The internal position is suitable for heavy equipment (100kg) and can be swung out to 135 degrees. The external position is rated to carry slightly lower weights (80kg), but swings out to a full 180 degrees (therefore being fully external to the enclosure). This gives full and unrestricted access to the inside of the enclosure behind where the swing frame is normally located.
Swing frame heights in RU are as follows: -
- 1800mm enclosure - 36RU
- 2000mm enclosure - 40RU
- 2200mm enclosure - 45RU
For 800 mm wide enclosures a swing frame trim is available to suit installation of the swing frame in either the centre, left or right sides. The trim consists of symmetrical panels, a single panel for the left and right hand installations and two symmetrical panels for centre installation. The trims are constructed from steel powdercoated mist blue (white).

Rack Rails, Fixed 19inch Rails
These are fixed rails that can be used as an alternative to a swing frame if access to equipment behind the 19 inch rail is not a problem.
Rack rails can be fitted into a 600mm wide rack but can also be fitted to wider racks with the use of appropriate matrix rails.
