B&R has just launched a new subsidiary, B&R Ex Systems. It is backed by specialised staff with many years experience in the explosion proof equipment market and the manufacturing and distribution capacity of Australia's largest enclosure manufacturer, B&R Enclosures.

Ex Range - Ex'e' Enclosures
B&R's range of Ex'e', increased safety enclosures are suitable for the use when some flammable gases, vapours or dust particles may be present.
Lighting - Zone 1
Fluorescent and well glass lights for Ex d Zone 1 and Zone 2 applications. Also in the range are explosion proof Ex d rated floodlights and increased safety fluorescents.
Lighting - Zone 2
Sodium and halogen floodlights for Ex n applications.
General Hazardous Enclosures
Ex rated general hazardous enclosures. There are 3 types of enclosures in the range, sloping roof with a hinged door, flat roof a hinged door, and flat roof with screwed lid.
Cast Enclosures
Ex d enclosures for Zone 1 and Zone 21 applications. There are various enclosures in the range for termination and control applications.
