The SSI specification is an expansion of the EIA-310-D standard as defined by Electronic Industries Association (EIA), and has been endorsed by Dell® and many other manufacturers of major server and network equipment. The objective is to ensure that the installation of rack mountable servers is standardised world wide. Server manufacturers, such as Dell®, HP®, IBM® and Silicon Graphics® can be confident that their equipment is designed to fit any SSI compliant rack. The Ausrack Plus range suits a wide range of server and network applications, in particular standalone or bayed server room applications. The robust 19” rack has a load rating of 1400kg suitable for almost any application and has been seismically tested to a similar rating. It is available in 24, 40 and 45RU heights with standard depths of 600, 900 or 1100mm.
