B&R Enclosures is Australia’s largest manufacturer of electrical enclosures, switchboard building systems, racks and cabinets providing innovative solutions to the Electrical, Data and Communications Industries.

The Position Reporting to the Information Systems Manager, this role will see you responsible for the provision and maintenance of our national network and systems.

This is a hand’s on position. You will be required to work with a wide variety of technologies and people to ensure that the business is able to meet its objectives and grow inline with the organisational strategy.

You will be part of a small team and will enjoy a varied job role within a large Australian, family owned business where there will be a strong focus on internal customer service. There are opportunities for this role to further expand and grow over time as your experience and skills develop.

The Person
• Proven record in a similar role with minimum 5 years commercial IT experience.
• Self motivated with exceptional communication & problem solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills, able to work in a team as well as autonomously
• Able to learn new applications, set up & improve systems, configure systems hardware & software
• Strong focus on customer service
• Provide support and mentor other team members where required
• Commitment to updating skills through further training where necessary
•Qualified MCITP/MCSE & tertiary qualifications in computer science would be well regarded.

Essential Skills
• MCTS certification
• Competency with networking technologies, protocols and troubleshooting (Switches, Routers, TCP/IP, LAN, WAN)
• Proven skills with VMware ESX
•Expertise in Windows 2003 and 2008 network operations, deployment, administration and infrastructure services.
• Proven skills in installing and administering Active Directory with solid ability in Users and Groups, File and Directory permissions and Platform security configuration.
• Proven skills in the deployment and management of Microsoft infrastructure technologies such as Active Directory, Group Policy, Terminal Server & ExchangeSkills in supporting Citrix Xen App 5.
• Proven skills with backup technologies such as Commvault, SAN Storage, Network shaping devices
•IIS or SharePoint experience will be highly regarded.
