Payroll Officer - QLD

The Role:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Payroll Officer to join our busy team at Heathwood (near Forest Lake).

Reporting to the HR Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Processing a payroll of approximately 400 staff
  • Preparing payroll tax, superannuation and PAYG payments
  • Handling all Payroll related queries
  • Updating and maintaining employee information
  • Providing back up for wages administration including reporting and budgeting

    The Person:
    B&R is looking for an experienced Payroll Officer with a minimum of 3 years experience. The ideal person will also have the following key requirements:

  • Extensive payroll experience in Meridian
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel and analytical skills
  • An understanding of RDO’s and Awards
  • A willingness to work to a high degree of accuracy and detail
  • Knowledge of Payroll Tax, Workcover and Superannuation on a national level
  • Friendly, open, direct and accurate communication with all employees
